1. Principal/Assistant Principal’s Report (Bridget)
a.  PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports)/Marcy PRIDE:  Continuing to work on this, identifying what’s working, what’s not; suspensions (9) since following policy; focusing on bus because many referrals happen there.
b.  SIP (School Improvement Plan): bringing SIP to Leadership Council for approval on Monday
c.  IFL (Institute for Learning)  Accountability:  principal is instructional leader.  Push for clear expectations and objectives; accountable talk; learning walks and wonderings.  A trained person walks through classroom and states “wonderings.”  There is a coach to help frame wonderings, e.g., “I’m curious about . . . .”  IFL goal is to make thinking audible and eventually put in writing.  Efforts not directed at individual teachers but at collecting wonderings throughout the building and identifying themes.
