Peggy Palumbo

My teaching background includes ten years with St. Paul Public Schools and one year on a teacher exchange in Kingston, South Australia. For the last sixteen years, I've taught at Crosswinds Arts and Science School.  Crosswinds was located in Woodbury, but drew students from St. Paul and surrounding suburbs.  For political reasons, the school closed last June.  I feel fortunate to have landed in MPS at Marcy.  My teaching experiences have been in diverse, progressive communities, where all students are welcome and given opportunities to be their best selves.

I grew up in St. Paul and am a product of the St. Paul Schools.  I earned my teaching license in Health and Physical Education from the University of St. Thomas.  I have a Masters Degree in Education and am currently attending Hamline University in their Education Administration program.

I live by Como Lake in St. Paul with my husband, three sons, cat, Maggie (aka Princess Margaret), and rescue dog, Timber. We love living by the lake and taking advantage of the biking/hiking trails and local music performances.
