Happy November Families,


Our week at a glance:

Reading: activating background knowledge to help us think of what we already know and predict words in our book.

Math: We finished our shapes unit and are starting a unit on strategies of counting and recording.    

Science: Trees unit-looking at shapes of leaves using comparative language (wider, longer, shorter, thicker etc..)

Writing: We are working on our personal narrative unit. Students are drawing pictures to tell TRUE stories and writing sentences to help tell the story.

Monday: Art

Tuesday: Gym, dancing with Robin

Wednesday: Art

Thursday: Gym, Be Safe Bear, Native American Family Involvement Day

Friday: Art, Family Dance party with Robin at 2pm.


Friday Folders- Handwriting homework for the letters h and a. Make sure students are going slow and forming letters correctly. Did you know for letter and number formation we almost always start from the top?  Family home project with directions are in the folder. They are due FRIDAY.


Donations:  Thank you for the donations received so far. Some items still needed included below:

8 ½ x 11 cardstock/index copy paper-any color

 SNACK size baggies (careful not sandwich size)

Soda bottle tops
